Cross Stitch Fever

I've always loved Cross Stitch, but never managed to finish any projects... I got this fantastic book the other day, and have been Cross Stitch crazy ever since! I've never tried lettering before and this was my first attempt...

I was very pleased when i received the book, it has over 500 designs and will definatley keep me busy over the half term!

I also managed to complete my first ever cross stitch in just 3 hours! I buy the CrossStitcher Magazine every month, they have some beautiful little projects for beginners right up to Pro's. I'm just a Beginner at the moment, but i'm sure in time i'll be a pro. I'm currently designing my own Cross Stitch, so keep a look out!

Busy Monday Morning...

It's only 2:00 and i've already managed to stitch together 25 lavender bags...
Make 8 Candles,
Clean the Rabbit out,
Done a load of washing and hung it out to dry,
and prepare lunch...
Phew!

Fudge was happy with a nice clean cage, she enjoyed a run around in the living room while i cleaned her out. Finlay has been asleep for last 2 hours, and she doesn't get a good chance to stretch her legs while Finlay is awake. It's ends up a game of hide and seek!

Hello Mr Postman :)

I've been waiting for a certain parcel to arrive through my door...
And today it came :)

Absolutely scrumptious Lemon Meringue Wax Melts :)

I can't believe how delicious they smell, almost good enough to eat! Even the Postman asked what they were, he said he'd been smelling the parcel all the way down the road, which made me chuckle :)

This was my fabulous Giveaway prize from Swirlyarts :)
It contains lots of different sewing and crochet patterns and designs. Really looking forward to getting my head stuck in and having a read, I will be making the Baby Sampler soon as my friend is expecting a little girl so that was an extra bonus getting that one!
